Welcome to DAMU Spa. We aim to provide you with an exceptional spa experience. By booking treatments, using our services, or visiting our spa, you agree to the following terms and conditions.​

Reserve

1. Opening Hours

DAMU Spa is open every day from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We recommend booking your appointments in advance to ensure availability.​

2. Payment

Payments for all treatments and services must be made at the time of booking or on arrival at the spa. We accept all major credit cards. In-house guests can charge treatments to their room account. For third-party payments, valid identification and credit card authorisation will be required.​

3.  Pricing & Gratuities

All prices are in GBP and are subject to a 12.5% service charge. Gratuities are not included in the final bill and are left to your discretion.​

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

We require 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a charge equivalent to the full price of the treatment. Please contact us directly for any changes to your booking.​

5. Pets Policy

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets are not allowed inside DAMU Spa.​

6. Children’s Policy

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, individuals under the age of 16 are not permitted to access treatments or facilities at DAMU Spa. All guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.​

7. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for purchase in-person at DAMU Spa and online via our website. Gift vouchers are non-refundable, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash and must be used within the specified validity period. There will be no extensions to the expiry date on gift vouchers.​

8. Online Bookings

We offer the convenience of online booking through our website. Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Please ensure all details are correct and reach out if any changes are required. Advanced booking is recommended to secure your preferred time.​

9. Advanced Bookings

We encourage you to book your treatments in advance to avoid disappointment, especially during peak times or holidays. Advanced bookings can be made via our website, phone or in person.​​

10. Spa Etiquette

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow for check-in and preparation. We recommend turning off mobile phones to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. We ask that you refrain from speaking loudly to ensure a relaxing environment for all guests.​

11. Spa Arrival

We kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your treatment begins. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time. Please inform our team of any special requests or health concerns when you arrive.​

12. Use of Spa Facilities

The use of the spa facilities, including the Mud Cave, Wavess™ Origin Pool, and other amenities, is available to all guests with booked treatments. Please follow the instructions of our staff to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Guests are asked to respect others’ privacy and tranquillity while using the facilities.​

13. Health Conditions

Please inform us of any health conditions, allergies or injuries before your treatment. We will tailor the experience to ensure your comfort and safety. Some treatments may not be suitable for guests with certain health conditions, and our therapists will advise you accordingly.​

14. Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, please inform us at the time of booking so we can recommend appropriate treatments. Certain treatments may not be suitable during pregnancy and our therapists will provide alternatives where necessary.​

15. Age Requirement

DAMU Spa is an adult-only spa. All guests must be 16 years of age or older to book treatments or access the facilities. Children under 16 are not permitted inside the spa. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to access the spa.

16. Accessibility

DAMU Spa is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all our guests. We offer accessible treatment rooms and changing facilities to ensure that everyone can enjoy our services. If you have any specific needs or require assistance, please inform us when booking, and we will be happy to accommodate you to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.​

17. Loss or Damage

DAMU Spa is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items, including clothing, jewellery or other possessions, while using our facilities. We recommend not bringing valuable items to the spa or leaving them unattended.​

18. Modifications

DAMU Spa reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website.​​

19. Damu Products

Enhance your well-being at home with our carefully selected products. The treatments you enjoyed at DAMU Spa use only the finest products, which are available for purchase as you depart. Let us help you extend the spa experience and continue your wellness journey with the same high-quality items used during your treatment.​

20. Refunds

Unopened retail products may be exchanged within seven days of purchase, provided the original receipt is presented.

21. Health and Safety Guidelines

We prioritise the safety and well-being of all our guests. DAMU Spa adheres to strict hygiene protocols, including sanitisation of treatment areas and equipment. If you feel unwell, have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or show any symptoms, we kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment.​​

22. Liability

While our professional therapists provide expert care and guidance, DAMU Spa is not responsible for any adverse reactions to treatments. We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before any treatment if you have concerns about allergies, injuries, or pre-existing conditions.​

23. Force Majeure

DAMU Spa shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performing services due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes or government restrictions.​

24. Laser Treatments & Special Treatment License

DAMU Spa is proud to offer a range of advanced laser treatments, designed to deliver effective results tailored to your needs. Our laser services are conducted by licensed professionals who adhere to the highest industry standards. We operate under a Special Treatment License, a certification granted to establishments that comply with stringent health and safety regulations. This license ensures that our facilities, equipment and therapists meet all legal requirements for offering specialised treatments like laser therapy.​
