Pricing & Gratuities

All prices are in GBP.

Gratuities are not included in your final bill and are at your discretion.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards. In-house guests can charge treatments to their room account. For third-party payments, valid identification and credit card authorisation will be required.

Gift Vouchers

DAMU gift vouchers are the perfect gift for any occasion and can be purchased at our spa reception or online. Vouchers can be redeemed for treatments or packages. Please note that gift vouchers are non-refundable, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash and their expiry date cannot be extended.

Refunds

Unopened retail products may be exchanged within 14 days with the original receipt.

DAMU Products

Take home the same high-quality products used in your treatments to continue your wellness journey. Available for purchase as you depart.

Age Restrictions

For safety and comfort, all guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to access treatments or facilities. Please note that Damu Spa is not accessible to individuals under the age of 16.

Children’s Policy

Guests under 16 are not permitted to access treatments or facilities unless accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Phone Policy

Guests are strictly not allowed to use their phones inside DAMU. To maintain a peaceful and relaxing environment, we kindly request that all mobile devices be silenced and kept away during your visit.

Accessibility

DAMU is dedicated to providing an accessible experience for all guests, with accessible treatment rooms and facilities. Please inform us of any specific needs when booking, and we will accommodate you.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, let us know when booking so we can recommend safe, suitable treatments. Our therapists are trained to ensure your comfort and care.

Facilities

.Guests with treatments of 90 minutes or longer can enjoy the steam room for up to 30 minutes.
Please note that day guests (non-residents or non-members) will incur a facility surcharge of £100. Please keep modesty covered with a towel in the steam room and wear your bathrobe in other spa areas.

After Your Treatment

To maximise the benefits of your treatment, we recommend drinking plenty of water and allowing yourself time to unwind to enhance your body’s natural healing and prolong the benefits.

Special Considerations

We offer treatments that can be customised to suit specific needs, including during pregnancy or recovery from injury. If you have any medical or health concerns, please inform our team in advance so we can ensure the best care and make necessary adjustments to your treatment.

DAMU Treatments

Before every treatment, a consultation will be conducted to ensure your experience is tailored to your needs. Some treatments may not be suitable for certain health conditions, and if necessary, we may recommend an alternative. For your safety, we advise consulting your doctor if you have any health concerns prior to your treatment. In certain cases, we may require written consent or a signed disclaimer from your GP or specialist before proceeding with your treatment.

Valuables

We recommend that you avoid bringing valuables to the spa. In-house guests have safes in their suites, while non-residents can use changing room lockers. DAMU is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Spa Environment

To maintain a serene atmosphere, the use of mobile phones is not permitted within Damu Spa London. We kindly ask that you keep your devices on silent to help preserve the tranquillity of the space. Alcohol and smoking are also prohibited. The Spa Team reserves the right to refuse access to anyone whose attire or behaviour may disturb the peace or compromise the comfort and safety of other guests.

What to Wear

Robes, slippers and disposable undergarments are provided. We recommend wearing undergarments under your bathrobe. Our therapists use professional draping for your privacy and comfort.
Please note: For the Mud Cave experience, we advise wearing darker swimwear or one you don’t mind staining, as the mud may discolour lighter fabrics.

Treatment Preparation

Please arrive 15 minutes early for a health assessment. Avoid heavy meals 90 minutes before your treatment. Sessions start and end on time to respect all guests.

Before Your Treatment

For optimal results, we recommend that men shave on the day of their facial. Women should shave or wax at least one day before or after thermal or body treatments.

Appointments & Booking

We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time. You can make a reservation by dialling the SPA extension (for hotel guests) or by calling us directly. A credit card is required to confirm and secure your booking.

At DAMU Spa, we do not differentiate between therapists based on gender or nationality. All of our therapists are highly trained professionals dedicated to ensuring your privacy, comfort and well-being. If you have any specific preferences, please feel free to let us know when making your reservation.

What's the Cancellation Policy?
